Objective
Rebrand Rose Garden Chinese Cuisine restaurant with a new logo and menu layout designs. Create a promotional poster.
Process
With initial research of the current Rose Garden restaurant logo and menu, I listed down things I wanted to improve upon and elements to keep. Keeping the wordmark style logo, I designed a fancy logo with a similar script font style.
For the take-out menu design, I organized the text in sections and the correct placement in the panels of the brochure for better readability flow. Pulling the same decorative frame from the take-out menu, I applied it to the dine-in menus.
For the promotional poster, I began by taking my own photography of their dishes and polishing them up in photoshop. I brought in complementing colours from Chinese culture using a dashing red in the background. This brought in an appetizing expression that paired with the food photography.
